1. Information We Handle
Depending on the features you use, Cloud Backup:
Photo Storage may handle the following categories
of information.
Account and Authentication Information
To create and use an account, the App may handle:
- Email address
- Account identifier
- Authentication and verification information
- One-time password (OTP) information
- Sign-in events and related technical information
Your email address may be used for account
registration, sign-in, account verification,
security, and account-related communications.
OTP codes may be sent to your email address to
verify account access and protect your account.
Where password-based authentication is supported,
authentication credentials may be processed by the
applicable authentication service and are not
intended to be stored by Cell Cave as plain-text
passwords.
Account and authentication services may use
Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
Technical and Device Information
Depending on the features and third-party services
used, the App and its service providers may process
technical information such as:
- Device model
- Operating system and version
- App version
- Device and app identifiers
- Advertising identifiers
- Language and general device settings
- IP address
- Network information
- Crash and diagnostic information
- Performance information
- App usage and interaction information
This information may be used to operate, secure,
troubleshoot, analyze, monetize, and improve the
App and its services.
2. Backup Content
The App allows users to back up supported content
to cloud storage.
Depending on the features enabled and permissions
granted, supported backup content may include:
- Photos
- Videos
- Documents and files
- Audio files
- Contacts
Backup files are encrypted on the user's device
before they are transferred to cloud storage.
Encrypted backup data is stored using Amazon Web
Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure.
Access to Backup Contents
Backup files are encrypted before leaving the
user's device.
Cell Cave does not have access to the contents
of the user's encrypted backup files through the
normal cloud-storage process.
The App may retrieve encrypted backup data to an
authenticated user's device when the user chooses
to restore their backed-up content.
Backup and restore functionality may require an
internet connection.
3. Device Permissions
The App may request Android permissions when they
are necessary for a feature that the user chooses
to use.
Photos, Videos and Media
The App may request access to photos, videos, and
other supported media so users can select content
for backup or restore.
Where supported by Android, users may be able to
choose:
- Full access
- Limited access
- No access
The App uses the level of access granted by the
user through Android's permission controls.
Contacts
The App may request Contacts permission when the
user chooses to back up or restore contacts.
Contacts access is used to provide the supported
contact backup and restore functionality.
Other Permissions
If additional permissions such as camera,
nearby-device, file, or other device access are
introduced or required for a specific feature, the
App will request those permissions through the
applicable Android permission mechanism and use
them for the related functionality.
Users can manage or revoke applicable permissions
through Android device settings.
If a required permission is denied, the related
feature may not be available.
4. In-App Assistant
The App may provide an optional assistant that
allows users to enter questions and receive
generated responses.
When a user chooses to use the assistant, the text
entered by the user must be transmitted to and
processed by the services supporting the assistant
in order to generate a response.
Assistant functionality may use Amazon Web Services
(AWS) and AWS-supported services.
The assistant is optional and is not required for
ordinary backup and restore functionality.
Please Do Not Enter Sensitive Information
- Passwords
- Payment card numbers
- OTP codes
- Authentication credentials
- Private security information
- Other highly sensitive personal information
Assistant requests may be processed by applicable
third-party infrastructure providers as necessary
to provide the requested response.
5. Analytics, Diagnostics and Crash Reporting
The App may use Google Play services and Firebase
technologies for analytics, crash reporting,
performance monitoring, diagnostics, and related
app functionality.
Depending on the services and configurations used,
information processed may include:
- Device and app information
- Device model and operating system information
- App version and language
- App usage and interaction events
- App or device identifiers
- Crash logs
- Diagnostic information
- Performance information
- IP address and network information
This information may be used to:
- Identify and fix crashes
- Improve app reliability and performance
- Understand feature usage
- Diagnose technical problems
- Maintain and improve the App
Google services process information according to
their applicable privacy practices.
6. Advertising
The App may display advertisements through
Google AdMob and third-party
advertising networks available through
AdMob Mediation.
Depending on the mediation configuration and the
user's location, consent choices, device settings,
and applicable laws, advertising services may
include:
- Google AdMob
- Meta Audience Network
- Mintegral
- Pangle
- Liftoff Monetize
These advertising providers may process information
such as:
- Advertising identifiers
- Device information
- Device model and operating system information
- IP address
- Network information
- App and advertising interaction information
- Approximate location or other coarse location information where permitted
- Diagnostic or technical information
- Information necessary to prevent fraud and invalid advertising activity
- Other information permitted or required by applicable advertising and privacy rules
Advertising providers may use this information to
serve, measure, personalize, optimize, and otherwise
support advertisements, subject to applicable consent
requirements, privacy settings, and their respective
policies.
AdMob Mediation
Google AdMob may act as the mediation platform
through which third-party advertising networks
participate in serving advertisements in the App.
When third-party advertising networks are enabled
through AdMob Mediation, those providers may
independently process certain information through
their SDKs, bidding systems, or other advertising
technologies.
Cell Cave does not control the independent privacy
practices of these third-party advertising providers.
Their processing may be governed by their respective
privacy policies and applicable terms.
Where legally required, users may be presented with
advertising consent and privacy controls before
applicable personalized advertising or other data
processing takes place.
Advertising availability and personalization may
depend on the user's location, consent choices,
device settings, applicable laws, and current App
configuration.
7. Paid Plans and Google Play Billing
The App may offer paid plans, subscriptions, or
in-app purchases.
Purchases and subscriptions made through Google Play
are processed using Google Play Billing.
For purchases processed through Google Play,
Cell Cave does not directly receive or process the
user's full credit or debit card number.
Google may process payment, billing, transaction,
subscription, account, and related information
according to Google's applicable policies.
Subscription management, renewal, cancellation, and
available payment methods are handled through the
user's Google Play account.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
We use third-party service providers and technology
partners to operate, maintain, analyze, monetize,
secure, and improve the App.
These providers may process information on our
behalf or may provide services directly to users.

laws.
The specific third-party advertising providers used
by the App may change over time depending on the
active AdMob mediation configuration. If the
advertising providers used by the App materially
change, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
9. How We Use Information
Information handled by the App may be used to:
- Create and maintain user accounts
- Authenticate and verify users
- Provide backup and restore functionality
- Store encrypted backup data
- Provide the optional assistant
- Provide customer support
- Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical problems
- Monitor and improve app performance
- Provide and measure advertising
- Support advertising mediation
- Prevent advertising fraud and invalid traffic
- Process subscriptions and purchases through Google Play
- Prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and misuse

We do not use personal or sensitive user data for
purposes incompatible with the disclosures in this
Privacy Policy.
10. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We may share or make information available to
service providers when necessary to provide the
App's functionality, including:
- Cloud storage
- Authentication
- Analytics
- Crash reporting
- Diagnostics
- Advertising
- Advertising mediation
- Advertising measurement
- Billing
- Assistant services
- Security and fraud prevention
Third-party advertising providers may receive or
collect certain information directly through their
advertising technologies when their services are
used through the App.
We may also disclose information when reasonably
necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request
- Protect the rights, safety, security, or property of users, Cell Cave, or others
- Detect or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other unlawful activity
- Enforce applicable terms or protect the operation of the App
Cell Cave does not sell personal data for monetary
consideration. Advertising partners may nevertheless
process or receive certain information as described
in the Advertising section of this Privacy Policy,
subject to applicable laws, consent requirements,
privacy settings, and their respective policies.
11. Data Storage and Retention
Encrypted Backup Data
Encrypted backup files may remain stored in AWS
cloud infrastructure while they are associated
with an active account and backup service.
Backup files are encrypted on the user's device
before transfer to cloud storage.
Cell Cave does not have access to the contents of
the user's encrypted backup files through the normal
cloud-storage process.
Account Information
Email addresses, account identifiers, authentication
information, verification information, and related
account records may be retained for as long as
reasonably necessary to provide account, security,
backup, and related services.
Analytics, Advertising, Billing and Diagnostics
Information processed by Google, AWS, advertising
partners, or other third-party providers may be
retained according to the applicable provider's
retention practices and policies.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of
information, purpose of processing, legal requirements,
and the provider's applicable policies.
Account Deletion and Backup Data
We keep your backed-up content and account data for
as long as your account is active.
When your account is deleted, your account and
associated backup data are handled according to the
deletion process described on our dedicated
Account & Data Deletion page.
We do not keep your files as active user-accessible
backup data after account deletion.
Short-lived copies may remain in infrastructure
provider backups for a limited period where
technically necessary for backup, security, disaster
recovery, fraud prevention, or other legitimate
operational purposes.
Support Communications
If you contact Cell Cave for support, we may retain
the communication for as long as reasonably necessary
to respond to your request, maintain appropriate
support records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse,
or comply with applicable legal obligations.
12. Account and Data Deletion
Users can delete their Cloud Backup: Photo Storage
account and associated data.
Account deletion can be initiated from inside the
App. If you cannot access the App, you may also
request deletion using the alternative method
described on our dedicated deletion page.

13. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the features available on your device
and in your region, you may:
- Grant, deny, or revoke applicable Android permissions
- Choose which supported content to back up
- Choose Full, Limited, or No media access where Android provides those choices
- Choose whether to back up contacts
- Choose whether to use the optional assistant
- Manage applicable advertising consent and privacy settings
- Make choices regarding personalized or non-personalized advertising where such controls are available
- Manage subscriptions and purchases through Google Play
- Request access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights
- Contact Cell Cave regarding privacy or account-related questions
Privacy rights may vary depending on your country
or region.
14. Security
We use technical and organizational measures
designed to protect information handled by the App.
For supported cloud backups, files are encrypted on
the user's device before they leave the device for
cloud storage.
Cloud storage and related infrastructure may be
provided through AWS.
Users are responsible for protecting their email
account, device, OTP codes, and account credentials.
No method of transmission, electronic storage,
network, device, or security system can be guaranteed
to be completely secure in every circumstance.
15. International Data Processing
The App relies on infrastructure and service
providers that may operate in multiple countries.
As a result, information such as:
- Account information
- Encrypted backup data
- Analytics and diagnostic information
- Crash information
- Advertising-related information
- Payment and subscription information
- Assistant requests
may be processed in countries other than the country
where the user resides.
Third-party advertising providers may process
advertising-related information in countries where
they or their service providers operate.
Such processing is subject to applicable legal
requirements and the privacy practices of the
relevant service providers.
16. Children's Privacy
Cloud Backup: Photo Storage is not directed to
children under 13.
Cell Cave does not knowingly design or operate the
App specifically for children under 13.
The App does not knowingly target personalized
advertising to children where prohibited by
applicable laws or Google policies.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child
under 13 has provided personal information through
the App, they may contact Cell Cave at:

action where required by applicable law.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Cell Cave may update this Privacy Policy when:
- App functionality changes
- Cloud services change
- Third-party service providers change
- Advertising partners or mediation partners change
